    Caps series over Penguins

Not as confident after the mid series breakdown they had against the Flyers but I said I was laying some down on the Caps in every series they played so here it goes. This is the dream postseason match up. Ovechkin vs Crosby! Best of luck to everyone the remainder of the postseason.

    Caps Series Win -130 @ $500

I truly believe whoever wins game 2, wins the series.

Could be. This is the marquee playoff matchup, imho. This is the series everyone is watching and every game will be down to the wire. Pretty evenly matched but Caps home ice send them over the top.

Caps did not play a good game 2 at all... Way too lopsided in terms of shots on goal. Caps were still able to make it an interesting game, though.

Ovi and Backstrom have to step it up. Holtby can't win every game for them...

caps been out played both games. They really need to step it up and the have another gear for sure. They are facing a back up goalie for peat sake.

I am still surprised some folks are banking on Ovy and Backstrom to play well in the playoffs. I mean, where have you been, living in a cave ? If Wash wins the series, it will be their role players who would come through. But I think the Penguins is not a team that will allow for that to happen.

If past playoff performances were indicative of future ones they would sit Ovechkin once the regular season came to an end. You're right that he shouldn't have to do it himself, though. He won't. That's why they went out and got Oshie.

Can't believe the Caps lost that one... Probably their best game of the playoffs. Couple mistakes on defense cost them the game. Ovi looked like he broke out during the 3rd. Good sign, maybe?

They need game 4 bad or this thing looks to be over.

It certainly isn't looking promising for the Caps... But 2 games to 1 is far from over.

I would be absolutely, shocked/stunned/speechless, if the Stars and Penguins each don't advance to their respective conference finals.

    Ill put it that way.

I'll be surprised if Dallas makes it...still hopeful about Caps - hopefully they can win Gm 5.

Stars goaltending is absolutely brutal at the moment... really unfortunate for them
