Day of Days to Clean up on Faves?

    Really liking the favorites today.

Caps looking to lock up the Pres. trophy tonight vs a very poor road team in Columbus. Caps will surely improve on their lackluster performance vs Blues on Sat. Holtby slated to start too for Caps. Jackets not playing for much.

Lightning!!! Again they will be super-hungry to get an all-important W tonight after a bad night vs. division-leading Panthers. Bishop back in net...don't see how Leafs hang tonight unless TB gets into penalty trouble.

Preds - this team is flying under the radar and playing great hockey since the ASB.
ML a bit juiced - thinking -1 might be the play. Avs probably suffer a letdown as their playoff hopes dwindled after squandering a great chance at home vs Wild on Sat.

Flyers - With the Hurricanes coming on strong the last couple games, Flyers can't keep their foot off the pedal. A loss here vs a miserable road team in Winnipeg and they're going to have a battle on their hands to make the playoffs. I'm not finding a lot of value on the ML here, but perhaps a parlay with another big fave or in another sport is the play.

Ducks - never count this team out. An OT comeback win is what they needed last game in Ottawa.
Tonight they face a struggling Oilers team - and a reasonable line of -160 for the road faves...may just sit this one out.

Well all but Preds came out with fairly easy wins...though Philly took OT.
Of all the faves I thought TB and Nashville would be easiest.

Not sure what happened to Preds except maybe they were getting a little comfy in the #1 wildcard slot and Avs were playing with nothing to lose after their best down vs Minny on Sat.

Preds didn't care. Ugh. Nice plays on the others.

Might happen again today like Det, Bos, Pens, and Florida. Isles are risky

These nhl lines are getting a bit out of hand.

Blues at -240 and Panthers at -250? These are division leaders (at least tied), but they are not elite teams like Caps

You can add a hungry Canes team to the list (at +1)...I think they can win, but at least at +1, that's a bit safer at a decent price.

Wanted the under at that one, but its 5, not 5.5, so passing on that game completely.

If I had the funds, I'd bet the 1st Period Under in the Carolina-Isles game...pretty solid bet IMO (if at -140 or better).

Actually I'd play all these if I could...

    Carolina +1 (-120)
    Car-Isles (1P - U 1.5)
    Panthers -1 (-145)
    Buffalo TT (U 2.5) -175
**Blues (ML) -230** (cautiously would bet this - might do a parlay)
    Bos - NJ (U 5) -117

Only playing the last one though with a lot of pending bets.

The Blues are easily equal to the Caps. At the tail end of every season, you have these prices. I really don't think it's that out of whack.
