    IIHF Under20 World Championship Odds

    Canada +130
    USA +260
    Russia +400
    Sweden +400
    Finland +1200
    Czech Rep. +4000
    Switzerland +7500
    Slovakia +20000
    Germany +40000
    Denmark +50000

Really like the value of the Czech Republic at 40 to 1. Not necessarily to win the championship but they can advance far enough to present some very nice hedge betting profit opportunities.

Likely a Canada or USA champ but who knows with kids. Sweden could spoil everyone's party. Not high on Russia this time around. The rest are also rans. Should be a fun tourney!

Sweden is missing their top d-man in Kylington. From what I saw in the replays, Tuch was given free reign around the net in the US ass kicking of Sweden.

I am liking the Swiss +1 today. I think they will benefit from being off yesterday.

As well I think Sweden rolls today. Denmark put everything they had into that Russia game, I see a let down spot here. It sucks laying 3.5 and with it extra juiced at 5Dimes...but I think Sweden wins big.

    Anyone else have some insights?

I find that the early games of the tourney are really hard to cap. Teams that should roll come up against a hot goalie, teams haven't gelled as a unit, etc.

I find laying 6.5 goals tonight vs Germany to be absurd, but Canada has the potential to win really big. They rolled yesterday, and can easily do it again today. Plus, there is incentive to run up scores.

I like Swiss +1 as well. I also like the Under, the Swiss play really strong D.

I agree laying 6.5 is crazy! This tourny has always provided some insane results. Case and point Finland losing to Slovakia today 2-1!

I took Swiss ML @ +237 today, which was a nice play. I also hedged with a Draw play, and U5.5, both of which were also positive juice. Needless to say, neither of these cashed, but even so I ended in positive territory.
