How has Ryan Miller been? How did he finish off last year and has he been seen in the pre season and doing well so far? I haven't been watching the 'Nucks
I live in Vancouver, so I can give a decent insight of how things are looking now. Obviously Miller wants to forget about the end of the season/playoffs with the Blues. He looks like he’s happy out there with the Canucks. He played pretty well in pre-season action. Eddie Lack played even better, so hopefully there’s some healthy competition, and Miller plays to his best potential.
Canucks defense is the question. Bieksa might not play tonight, and who knows which Alex Edler shows up this season. If you’re looking at tonight’s game, luckily they start against the Flames who will have a tough time scoring.
Overall, Miller looks good, but it depends on how the D plays in front of him. An injury to Edler, Hamhuis or Tanev, and they’re in trouble.
Our bottom pair if Bieksa isn't playing will be Weber-Stanton. Not so great, especially when we're in a division with the Kings, Ducks, and Sharks.
Sbisa hasn't looked very good in preseason, and Edler will be a question mark. He can be either amazing, or a disaster like last year.
We should be fine tonight and I'm predicting a 3-1, 4-1 type of win, but if we get another injury in our top 4... ouch
why would you go all in with Vancouver?? Calgary sucks, but still....
Like I thought... Canucks D giving away the puck like they have no idea what they're doing.
Edler looks very much like last year unfortunately
