    23 Dog Days of October NHL Contest (with 100% overlay)

    Who is up for an easy NHL contest for October?

    Pick the most underdog winners between 8th and 31st October, making a maximum of 1 pick per day. (you don't have to pick every day)

    Just hit the most winners. Losers and units are not counted.


    Pros: 40 points to play
    Non-Pros: 5% for every 2 points you add to this post by 20th Oct (halfway)

    And I will match all entries to double the prize pool.


    Winner take all. Split the pot for a tie.

    If a non-pro wins, the balance of the prize pool is paid to the highest finishing pro.


    Dogs will be determined by the Openers posted on SBR Odds

    All picks must be posted by 7pm ET to count for that day.

    I'll be down, but you should start the contest on the 9th. 8th will be first time most peeps paying attention to NHL at all and they won't want to jump on board after that when you have a few guys up 1-0 already.

    Edit, not giving away state secrets here, but dog play for the 8th should be pretty obvious.

    Edit again. Dog I was thinking of actually oppened as the fave, never mind.

    Oh damn.... I typed 8th October start instead of today, 7th October.

    Guess us early starters just have to miss Leafs today. Wasn't really too confident about any of them anyway.

    Was hoping LA/SJ total would be 5 for my first cash bet of the season... but looks like its 5½ -150 range for Under
