7th OT game in the 1st round is an NBA record, did i not say these NBA playoffs have been more exciting than the NHL thus far?

nhl games are supposed to go OT, one goal here, one goal there, hard to get a margin,

for so many NBA playoff games in first round to go OT, so many road teams to win, Vince Carter buzzer beater, this NBA playoffs is > NHL playoffs...........THUS FAR

Grade A so far. Except for the Bruins & Canadiens series, all others have been competitive and compelling. NHL runs laps around the NBA for playoff excitement even if Joe Average is too busy watching that bullshit. Just cannot get into the NBA.

maybe so but i 100% guarantee you the NBA playoff TV ratings are beating NHL playoff TV ratings. that's why every NBA game is on TNT, ABC or ESPN. basic cable. cannot find the NHL playoffs unless you have NBC Sport channel

NBA is a global sport. a fawken global sport i say

NHL is supposed to be competitive just like a soccer game, it's one fukking goal at a time and you have a goalie

    Anaheim 4 games to 2
    Chicago 4 games to 2
    Boston 4 games to nill
    Montreal 4 games to nill

come on guys i've been watching stanley cup since '92 this is nowhere near as good as the first round has been most years,

some of you are so easy to please...........or maybe you're just really young

Hockey fans don't sweat ratings. ESPN fukked hockey up when they had the chance. Now they blast NBA garbage 24/7. Oh, Lebron dunked? Better make it a top play. Everyone pissed and moaned when the 7-9 Seahawks made the playoffs. Atlanta finished 6 games under .500 and they are about to beat the #1 team in the East. The product is utter garbage and has fallen so far off from the late 80's early 90's glory days. Everything is a foul. You have legends of the game saying the game is soft.

NHL has been good, not great. We have been spoiled last few years by amazing hockey playoffs. This year is has been exciting but the bar is really high. NBA has been insane, already 8 OT games and many buzzes beaters as well.

I think the home team dominance in hockey has hurt slightly
