Looks like I am gonna get choked out on this one. No offense in the 3rd.

Joked about Monsieur Martín, as a possible goalscorer today; I now realize, I shouldn't have

Tough game to figure out. I scratched it, as well as the Wings @ Bruins. Getting back to that series soon though.

What are Your thoughts on Bolts @ Canadiéns? I'm thinking that Bolts have a lot of first period goals against this season. Especially on the road. Been trailling a lot and Bishop is out as well. In Game 1 they conceived 1 in the first (1 in the second, 2 in third and 1 in OT). Canadiéns' strategy must be crystal: score three goals, which they are more than capable of. Thinking one or two Montreal home ice-goals in the first period..

That's the only game I may play and I was looking at Over 5, maybe a Carey Price prop.

Okay taking my possible only other shot today. If it loses, no more as I am sticking to not playing more than two if they both lose. This chick alone is worth the risk.

Can't say that she isn't! So, no objections really - I just don't see a lot of goals in this one. (Detroit just scored and.. It's good!)

Boys gotta stay disciplined though and not risk the Bruins' PP. Seems like the only real edge for the Bruins at the moment. Coaches know each other too well; or rather: each others' systems.. But also each other, I guess.. This seasons' series between the two franchies' as well as game 1, also suggests this, I think.

For You, I hope I'm wrong!

Tonight I'm on the Canadiéns, over 0.5 goal in the first. Still reviewing the over and/or the possibility of a Carey Price show..

Gotta shot now with the late goal. DET might as well cycle the puck in their own end on the PP. BOS is killing them with their PK.

04-20-14 : MONTREAL CANADIÉNS TO SCORE OVER 0.5 GOAL IN THE FIRST PERIOD (-162).

BTW; I think that Carey Price is more likely to have another evening of brilliance, than the Bolts are to go over two goals. That's why I am reluctant to take the over and might use the Price bid as back up..

This DET-BOS game is gonna be one of those agonizing finishes for those waiting for a goal like me .... not sure it's coming. Loads of chances, but nothing finding a hole and running short on time.

Price has 25 saves with 3.21 to go in the third.. 3-2 Canadiéns.. Freakin' close. Left the plays alone and I hope I won't be too sorry!

    DUCKS / STARS-series, revisited
Game 3 tonight. Ducks lead the series 2-0. Some stats (totals) from the previous two games at Honda Center in Anaheim:

    DALLAS STARS

    Goals by period
    1st 2nd 3rd OT Total
    1 2 2 0 5
    Shots by period
    1st 2nd 3rd OT Total
    25 23 23 0 71

My preliminary thoughts, with regards to Game 3:

As goalie Frederik Andersen has put up some good numbers lately, there's still some uncertainty concerning who will be the starting goalie for the Ducks tonight. John Gibson has returned to the Admirals, which tells me that Jonas Hiller might be back from his flu-scratches and what not!? Bruce Boudreau might even start him!? In my opinion, Andersen could use a break and if You look at Hiller's stats (last 4 seasons), I think he just may have passed the auditions:

    Seasons
    Saves
    Shots Against
    SV%
    2010-14
    5062
    5537
    0.914

Well rested and on home ice tonight, I don't see why the Stars shouldn't be able to average at least 10-12 shots pr. period and I think that both Andersen and Hiller should be up to the task of making over eg. 27 saves.. Either way, the Stars need a win tonight and simply has to continue puttin' those pucks on net.. It's not "must win" for the Stars, but it kind of is!

In following this logic,Tyler Seguin could score a goal. He played 80 games during the regular season and scored 37 goals. Top 5 goalscorer (number 5 in regular season). He already scored once in this playoff series (game 1) and tonight, he is therefore likely to do it again. His last home goal was on April 11th against the Blues and if You look further at his scoring record, he has scored one or more home goals in most of the 'big' games.

    Checks in later..

    April 21
PIT G MARC ANDRE FLEURY Total Saves Over 27.5 [-115]
    COL-MIN Over 5 [-125]

CLB keeps pumping shots in on MAF. 80 saves in two games & as previously mentioned, he's beaten this # in all starts vs. CLB this season. He needs to keep being strong early.

COL-MIN is one I will ride until it proves otherwise. Three straight in the series & MIN was more potent @ home down the stretch.

Can't beat it with a stick!

Even though Duchene and Mitchell are both out of game 3 for Colorado, I also expect this one to go over 5 as the top liners should suffice.

Kuemper will be starting goalie for Minnesota. With 26.02 minutes, 14 saves and no goals against, he had a good start to his playoff experiences in game 2. Starting this one will be a lot different though.. The pressure, the pressure..

60 minutes, XX saves and a minimum of 3 goals against is my prediction.

Looking crappy all around. Fleury gave up two early and MIN is assaulting Varlamov, but not getting anything past him.

Yeah I mean five in two periods is obviously do-able with the high volume of shots, but always prefer the quick start. CLB not doing any favors by putting PIT on the PP a lot in the 1st also which meant very few shots for them. Just hope they go back to keeping even strength and pumping shots in on Fleury ... and he stops them. I'd probably be happy to get a push and a lost out of these two at this point.

I may play off the board - Benn & Seguin scoring props. Both are +175. I think one will score.

I think that Seguin will score one or more goals in game 3 and/or 4 at AAC in Dallas. Whether it will be tonight or the day after tomorrow, I don't know. I will most likely play both.

    Benn is the alternative!

With regards to the possibility of reaching the over 5 in Minnesota: San Jose scored seven goals in two periods yesterday and I also remember the insane comeback from the Islanders @ Canucks in reg. season. Wasn't that seven goals in the third? I'm just saying..

Yeah no chance in either one, unless PIT can force OT in Columbus.
