It's not the most exciting matchup of the season. But there's still some value in playing the Florida Panthers at the Philadelphia Flyers tonight.
How’s this for a train wreck? Florida is 9-27 on the road while the Flyers are 8-26 on their home ice.
I prefer the visitors here who are 3-3 in their last six but 7-3 over their last, and a respectable 2-2 on the road in their last four beating teams they should, Washington and these same Flyers by a 2-1 score back on the March 8. The Panthers are also 7-5 in their last 12 versus teams with losing records while the Flyers are just 2-10 with extra rest and 9-36 versus teams in a home ice loss revenge situation.
Add to the mix Philly’s 0-8 record their last eight in front ends of back-to-back's and we have a pretty good case for Panthers. Take Florida.
