    Why Jets over Lightning?

NYI +135 over Leafs. Some places are as high as +140. Leafs got deflated vs the Rangers after an emotional 3-2 SO win in the Winter Classic. I think with Reimer and Bernier facing an average of almost 40 shots per game has finally caught up with them and are a little fatigued. The Isles are also on a 4-game road win streak. Tavares is on a 6-game point streak, (7G, 6A) and is also running on an emotional high after being selected to team Canada for Sochi. If there is any prop bets, I think JT gets just 1 point tonight, probably just an assist as an added bonus, as historically after he has a multi-point game, the following game he usually registers a 1 point, or 0 point night.

What about the Under in 1st period? +100 odds
These teams don't score much in 1st period.
I may give it a stab

I see the reasoning. Winnipeg has better number overall HeadtoHead vs Tampa. Jets 7-1-2, have a higher GF, PP% and PK% in their last 10 vs TB. Also, Jets are 4-1 in last 5 @ home vs Tampa.

Islanders didn't get into T.O last night until 3:30.

I still like them anyways. Game is at 7:00, so plenty of rest as the Isles didn't skate this morning either. It's not like they have to get used to a time zone difference. You can't go out and have an emotional win in a shootout, in possibly the most meaningful game the Leafs have had thus far this season, and in the biggest game so far in the NHL season, and come home and get blown out of your own building 7-1 the very next game. I see them responding and playing a decent game, and it stays tight throughout, but I still think this game goes to the Isles.

Leafs embarrassed last game expect better effort tonight.
Don't trust Lindback, Jets can fly and score
Like Devils at home with Marty....but admit Flyers tough

Adding Coyotes.....Flames have their win for the month
Adding Kings pl...Quick vs Kuemper and at home....ok...thx
