Blue Jackets are 1-5 in their last 6 games. Capitals have lost their last 2 games, but it was away against Colorado which is playing the best hockey in NHL right now and against phoenix which they led with 3-1 until the last 3 minutes of the game. Now they are at home which they have won 5 of the last 6 games. Blue Jackets have had 4 straight away losses. And one of them was against Washington which they lost 4-1. Washington leads the PP in the NHL, and are the number 1 team in PP goals. They are also second in NHL in penalty killing. The Blue Jackets are 23 in NHL in penalty killing. The way ovi been playing lately is impressiv and I think Caps will win in reg scoring at least 3 past brobrovsky.
Panther vs Ducks:
Florida has lost 9 straight games.. That pretty much says alot about where the team is. The Ducks leads the league in 5against5 hockey the panthers is 26th. Ducks have only lost 1 in their last 9 games and that was away against Boston. Ducks is third in scoring with 3.5 goals per game. Florida is third last in NHL in scoring, and third in letting in goals, defense anyone? Getzlaf sat out the previous game, might be playing today.
Canadiens vs Lightnings:
Im not going to go in detailes but pretty short I think the impact Stamkos injury will have on the team is too big, I think the momuntum will shift for the lightnings, and montreals last game I think was the momentum changer and now they are at home against B2B Lightnings without Stamkos and salo, they know it and they will take their chance.

Both Nashville and Florida is playing B2B, both of them are meeting two of NHL's best teams, the fire power that Chicago has is incredible, they've scored 4 or more in their last 4 games but at the same time they've let in lots of goals and their defense have not been good. Nashville is coming home from a 7 game roadtrip, they've lost 4 straight and only scored 2 goals in those games. Sometimes coming home after a roadtrip is positive, but I believe a 7 game roadtrip (17 days away) has been too long and it might have the opposit effect on the players, because they come home, see their family and friends, catch up, and focus might not be there. Also Versteeg will play against Nashville, Chicago acquired him from Florida, and he is a great player (Floridas best if you ask me) he is back in Chicago and I think he will be eager to show what he can do from the getgo. Chicago met them 5 times last year and won all of them. The only thing that does scare me a bit is Chicagos defense and that they dont kill off the game, and keeps the score close & OT.
I dont think there is much to say with the Avs going against the Panthers, Avs have the second best defense, Floridas offensive sucks, their PP is the worst in NHL. Florida has lost 9 straight away games. The Avs have lost two straight now and got hammered against St louis, let in 7 goals, so I expect their defense will/is going to prove a point and play much better (Dont forget that was against one of the highest scoring team in NHL) they will want to bounce back and I believe they will against a B2B Florida.
