3.17.14: LIGHTNING-CANUCKS OVER 5 [-130] Decided after crunching the #s, that I do like this one. Lack for VAN. Bishop likely for TB. I think if the 'Nucks can stick with their recent decent goal scoring and add 1-2 ... push should at least come our way and pull me off the losing skid for a day.
3.18.14: RED WINGS-MAPLE LEAFS OVER 5.5 [+100] Siding with bad goal tending/defense lately involving both Reimer and Howard who are slated to start. Reimer has given up at least three goals in six of his last ten appearances - with at least two goals in nine of ten. Howard has given up three or more in five of his last seven starts. The offenses have not been overly consistent, so hopefully they will find the sledding easier tonight.
I looked at CHI-PHI. It might be an in-play game for me, but I wanted to see how it goes. CHI has been playing a lot more unders lately. Based on the Flyers' numbers, I would try it as they have been in good scoring form and generally give up a few.
3.18.14: DUCKS-CAPITALS OVER 5.5 [-115]
Halak v. Hiller. Halak has allowed at least two goals in all five of his Caps' starts. Anaheim has been a little sporadic with the goal scoring of late, but still averages over three goals per game this season. Hiller is in a funk in March with 12 goals allowed in four starts. Washington has scored four goals or more in six of their last ten overall.
Wow. Could I be in a larger rut. Fukks get to five goals quickly in the 3rd and cannot get a 6th in nearly half the perioid. Fully expect this other one to fail as well.
