    Euro Hockey Tour 2013/14

Tomorrow a new season of Euro Hockey Tour will start with a tournament in Czech Republic.

    Website:
    http://eurohockey.com/league/1141-euro-hockey-tour.html

Finland will be without their top scorers Kontiola, Aaltonen and Pesonen. Their attacking lines will consist of younger players and a couple of newcomers to the national team. They will also miss Vaananen and Kukkonen on D and in nets they have 2 inexperienced and young goalies who played in 4 national games alltogether so far.

    Roster: http://eurohockey.com/club/5325-finl...18&season=2014

Czech team will play at home and they seem to have the most complete team on the tournament. They will be without their NHL players but they have everyone else in the team. They will have their attacking power with Cervenka, Irgl and Rolinek; and experienced D being led by Caslava.

    Roster: http://eurohockey.com/club/5327-czec...18&season=2014

Last year Czech's have won the match with 3-2 and Finland had their top players who will miss this year playing. Czech's are playing at home in Pardubice, probably a full arena of home fans and weak Finnish team, I think Czech Rep. should clearly win this one. The odds are pretty good, I expect them to drop soon though.

    Hi ZdenoK,

Russia vs Sweden as well...I am unfamiliar with this tour but Russia seems to be the favourite here... do you think both Czech and Russia can both win by more than 1.5 tomorrow?

Sweden has some youngsters in their team so hard to say anything. I put a couple of units on Russia but both teams are without most of their standard players. Czech team is the most complete in the tournament.

Czech's are outshooting Fin's with 26-16 after 2 periods but trailing 0-3 because they can't score a thing and instead they let in silly goals.
