Boston native here with a large series bet.

as much as I understand the circumstances there is no way I cannot bet this series.
Pittsburgh Penguins -205 over the Boston Bruins series bet.
too much firepower for the Bruins to handle. my money is where my mouth is. thoughts on series?

I like pit as much as the next guy for money making bets but Boston has alot of depth aswell maybe not as high end superstar talent but id definetely give bruins the edge in G/D

Like Pitt as long as goaltending holds up. Boston PK will be tested. Not the cakewalk it was vs NY

hard not to think pit takes it, but i do think bos can steal 1 of the 1st 2 gms so might just wait and hope maybe they do and price gets little better, hell might even take stab w bos gm 1..

What's behind this thought? I have Bruins in two plays to win the East, averaging out to +417. Have a two team open parlay with the Heat ML last night (I know, juicy, but just felt very slim chance heat lost that game) set to make my hedge play so I can come out plus money either way.

Think if I play the Bruins in this series it will be team total overs rather than ML. Should be plus money on the over 2.5 for game 1.

Just how the Pens play, especially at home. Just a hunch really. Evidenced by their first two game 1's winning 5-0 and 4-1. Likely a similar result tomorrow.

Looked up the historical trend and not much of a difference in game 1 vs game 2, 64.5% game 1 vs 63.3% game 2 win percentage for the home team. Home team has won game 2 63.8% of the time after game 1 win. With the strong home team trend this season smart play is play Pens now rather than hope Bruins steal one in Pitt.

My 'historical' hunch is only referring to this year's playoffs. Agreed they're great at home as well, and I think Pens win both 1 and 2, but I'm more confident in game 1. Just my opinion though.

NHL is all about matchups......I don't believe these two match up well.
