    Atlanta Thrashers +115

    http://www.sportsbookreview.com/Article/200701092118.aspx

Both of these teams are riding three-game losing streaks, but the Thrashers still have a winning record on the road this season and are worth an investment as an underdog in this spot.

Atlanta is 13-7-3-1 away from home, and it is not as if the Thrashers have been getting blown away as their last two losses have both been in overtime. Also they have not been intimidated by playing here in Montreal, winning two of the last three head-to-head meetings north of the border. Granted Atlanta is struggling offensively right now averaging 2.20 goals per game over the last five contests, but the Canadiens have been even worse over this same period.

Montreal is averaging just 2.00 goals in the last five games, and the last two losses by the Habs have come here at home. In fact Montreal has been hardly intimidating in its own rink, going just a modest 13-6-0-3. Moreover the Canadien defense, which played so well for the first past of the year, has broken down a bit lately allowing 3.40 goals per contest in the last five games, with Montreal going 1-4 in those games.

I had atlanta myself here, but they choked once again with the lead. I guess they still had the phoenix game on their heads when they blew a 4-1 lead at home to them. I guess some teams don't know what to do with the lead like some investors don't know what to do with their profits.

    xxx,

Yes it was not the best of nights for me as I went 1-3. Also lost with Pittsburgh (3-2....ouch) and Dallas UNDER (took a shot at +129). Only the Calgary UNDER saved me from a total wipeout. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

    Good Luck to You
