    Advanced stats

    Anybody here use them for betting yet?

    Other than Elliotte Friedman, I don't see very many people in the media talking about it. Right now only the bloggers are utilizing them for their analysis. It blows my mind that people still reference things like +/- and GAA as if they mean anything.

    With hockey already being a "niche" sport in the betting world and the last major sport to develop advanced stats, I think the next couple years will be a huge opportunity to take advantage of the books.
