Jimmy the Moose: Canucks +1½ at Oilers

    Canucks +1½ at Oilers

Coming in off back-to-back wins over Calgary, take the Vancouver Canucks tonight on the road at Rexall Place against the Edmonton Oilers.

The Canucks are coming off impressive back-to-back wins vs a solid Calgary team this week and will look to carry that monemtum into Edmonton who is struggling with six losses in the last eight games and suffering from the injury bug.

Vancouver (19-18-1) has won five of their last eight to inch up within a point of the lead in the Northwest Division standings. Henrik Sedin leads the Canucks with 38 points and 33 assists so far this season. Daniel Sedin is the leading goal scorer with 13.

Edmonton (18-16-2) is off a 7-4 loss at home to the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday. That defeat marked their second consecutive home loss.

The Oilers are allowing 4.6 goals per game in their last five outings. Vancouver is 12-7 ATS on the road this season.

    Play: Canucks +1½
