    Caps just getting wrecked again Good chance he's fired in the next week if this shit keeps up. Maybe tomorrow morning if the Pens tack on a few more in the 3rd.

    Gotta think the Caps are gonna be going hard for Luongo now with both goalies proving they are not a legitimate starter.

    They have no depth either. Ovie, Backstrom, Ribiero but after that it's mostly AHL players. Teams just a mess. They lack chemistry and heart as well. Neither goalie has any confidence at all either.

    Think they are going to do something with OV? Maybe he needs a change and maybe they can get a few good players for him to help build their depth

    This will never happen, he is their french ice player. He will start playing at some stage. Oates system takes time (for some reason).
    Their BIGGEST PROBLEM even if all their players playing to the level they are suppose to, its goal-tending is really bad.
    Get Loungo or someone for first rounder and some depth player. Getting ride of Vokoun was not a clever move, Thanks as I'm a pens fan. Vokoun is better then the two clowns they have in net now.

    Theirs no question their missing something whether it's players or the right coach, Time to blow it up and start over again. Band-aid moves are just falling off this wound and doing nothing for this team.

    I agree. And the need loungo but that's the problem...they need to rebuild and start over they can't be trading away first round picks.. And they have no one they can trade to get depth players lol their a mess right now

    yeah if you are an offensive team that scores 4-5 goals per game then goalie becomes less important or stressful.
    But defensive system you have to have a sound stable goalie and neither holtby nor neuwirth will cut the cheese here.
    I agree they are in a bad state.
    Oates wants to play like New Jersey without Brodeur..

    Unreal Boudreau was the man there when he had them playing high flying offensive hockey. He's doing the same thing in Anaheim now.
