3-7-12 suspicious line in Chicago Blackhawks / Pheonix Coyotes game

    -115 for a team that is 8-0 vs a team that is 4-4 ????

why is it just -115 here for Chicago just cuz they are on the road , what am I missing here..

I agree....and hawks have owned them in recent years...very strange...what do books know that we do not?

Blackhawks are 5-2 in the last 7 meetings in Phoenix.

Don't see why the line is "suspicious"

Phoenix at home (a matchup team to begin with) is just as good, if not a better team than the Chicago Blackhawks.

Hey pdubb I saw you in the thread on Hawks +200, that was good shit.

Anyway, I'm from Chicago so I've been doing some monitoring of the Hawks. Everything points to a W by the Hawks. Line jumped at least once since it came out and I have Hawks -120 and Coyotes +100. That scares me a bit. While on every other day I would say Hawks, I get a little skepticism from this win streak. They all end one time or another so you have to learn to pick your battles.

I lean Hawks for one more time before they finally let up a legit defeat. I;m sleeping on it.

    Some things to note.

    • Coyotes only allowed 3 goals in the last 4 games at home.

    • Coyotes finish a 3 game home stand against the Hawks before they play 6 of the next 8 games on the road.

    • Coyotes are 3-1-1 outside of their division. One of those losses coming from the Blackhawks.

Seems like a letdown spot for the Hawks and their streak could end here.

WHAT?! Phoenix is nowhere near the skill level of chicago. they are nowhere near what they showed last year either.

Chicago is 8-0-2 it's not like they're undefeated

Phoenix will start turning it up at home, got 2x down at +103

i layed off the game....i get it, chicago is 5-2 in PHO, road teams are 6-0. every game has gone to OT though. sorry, neither side is worth my change with so many OT games. learned my lesson with montreal yesterday. GO RAGS!

i came looking for opinions specifically on this game

yes line struck me as suspiciously low as well, and has now gone even lower

plus this is the first time chicago will see torres on the ice, isnt there a "statement" factor to this game as well??

and yeah Smith and phoe is playing well but they can get lit up

    i dont know

maybe if the game does shake out that way chicago wins by a mile so maybe the play on chicago is PL or nothing

You mean like how they owned them in the playoffs last year?

    Ding Ding Ding!

Hawks have every single game circled against the Coyotes this season and after already beating them once now they get to play against Torres and will be even more fired up

Plus we have Crawford in net tonight whereas last time we had Emery so I like our chances even better

No way anyone should back Phoenix in this spot

Lotta line movement. I have CHI and PHO at -105/-115 respectively now. Emery is apparently back in goal tonight. I'm going with the Hawks for a unit. Gonna parlay the PL with Bulls ML for a quarter of a unit. The Chicago fan in me wants victories. Good luck gents

If "skill" was the deciding factor for determining the outcome of hockey games then Edmonton, Dallas, Florida, and Buffalo would be among the best teams in the league. Instead, they haven't even made the playoffs very often in the last 5 years
