i think so too, ' was just checking it out, Flyers looked pumped tdy and ready to play, had enough chances to tie the game but still failed, no finish -no heart, they will have problems in Buffalo for sure

Why is this considered an "easy" play? Just because Buff is at home? Lost both home games to Philly and were swept in the season series last year. Philly seems to match up well against the Sabres and Miler. Looks to be a one goal game (flip type) why lay the juice? Not trying to be sarcastic, just looking for insight. Looks to be the same Sabres roster, added Ott (penalties).

Ott adds penalties yes but in a positive manner. He can make the best player completely lose their game. One of the best agitators in the game. Sabers looked good second half last season. Time to gell together. Lots of young prospects. Great coach for sure. Did you watch the pens flyers game? Then add b2b. All b2b team playing against none b2b next will loose.

Philly wins this easy, took a period to get their legs yesterday, they outplayed and outchanced the penguins the final 2 periods just didin't find the back of the net.

Philly has dominated Buffalo in recent years, dont waste your $$

    Playing the 1st period o1.5, that's all.

The Sabres are my lean, but as mentioned before, the Flyers could be warmed up. The idea that a B2B will cause a team issues is something I agree with, but not on the first weekend of the season.

Normally I'd agree with this, but I think we saw yesterday it's taking teams some time to get their legs, the fact Philly played yesterday is a bonus IMO

Plus yesterdays game ended around 6 and Buffalo is a 1 hour flight from Philly so I dont see a lot of jet-lag setting in here

id lean philly but give me a break.

they both played like shit, penguins didn't even play that well, philly played so bad that pens looked half decent. it was sloppy as hell. I'm thinking of going large on RANGERS today against pitts @ NY home opener

I didnt see any games yesterday I would classify as classics, this is a very different scenario to try to handicap match-ups on a day to day basis

Philly will be up to speed already having played yesterday. Buffalo will likely come out rusty like some teams did yesterday. I think Buffalo are good enough to handle Philly but wouldn't go with saying it's a sure thing etc. Having a game under their belt will give Philly a bit of confidence. Not touching.

A Flyer goal wiped out by a non existent bump, now a penalty on Hartnell when hes bumped into Miller by a Saber D man leads to a PP goal

Some days you dont get breaks ... oh well

It is bringing back memories, wasn't Miller know for his constant crying to Refs before his injury plagued year last year?
There seems to be 2 sets of standards here

Guess its better to be lucky then good
