    Capping short NHL season

    question:
Are they starting the season without a pre-season??

If so how do you cap the first couple of weeks?? bet on Goalie or Offense for the ov/un. Who is really ahead. Is it like BB bet on pitchers or hitters the first couple of weeks.

Going to be tough to predict these early season games. Players are going to be rusty and I wouldn't be surprised if many aren't even in game shape.

Lineup cohesion is going to be important. That means potentially teams like Minnesota and Carolina who made alot of changes in the off-season could struggle early. Teams like Los Angeles, St. Louis and Chicago who made few changes could have an advantage at the start.

Also, look for Edmonton for some early upsets as some of their players have been toiling in the AHL all season and are not rusty at all. I'll be playing Edmonton pretty much every game until this theory is proven otherwise.
