man I want to play the Kings for the series but -170 is steep.

Devils are playing at such a high level, I was expecting -130 -140. what do you guys think? is LA going to be able to completely run through NJ like they have anyone else or Devils playing with too much confidence and this a coin flip going 7 games?

devils in 6, kings are a great team, especially in the west, but the devils get the advantage with goaltending and offemse both teams forecheck is fierce but really think brodeur, elias, parise, kovalchuk and crew take the cup.

The Devils are playing well, have home field advantage and playing with confidence but the golatending edge has to go to the Kings with Quick. Brodeur sucks ass and could easily get roughed up. Would love to see the Devils win but think the Kings will be too much for them and Marty's luck will run out. No bet for me, hoping it goes to 7 competitive games.
    BOL to all.

I got the Kings at -150, pretty much the limit I would lay the juice

Im seeing more love for the Devils than I thought, especially against a team who only have lost 2 games this postseason

The Devils are better that all the teams the Kings have beaten (Yes even Vancouver, the Devils would outphyisical the Canucks if they met).

I don't know. The Kings are playing great all around hockey. should be able to neutralize devils fore check. huge advantage in goal with Quick and have only lost 1 road game all play offs. I would say NJ has played much weaker competition than the Kings. Kings defense and goal tending is just as good if not better than the Rangers but the x factor being the Kings have way more scorers and create way more chances than the Rangers could and the Devils still struggled to put the Rangers away, always letting them back into the game. might just have to play this game by game.

I would argue the Kings' competition was way softer

Canucks were so so bad without D Sedin
    Blues flat the entire series
Coyotes only got to 3rd round on a super hot goalie

Rangers were a really tough team, Flyers had unreal fire power, and Panthers were very good and had the best shot at eliminating the Devils.

    Fair line Devils -105

Rangers and Flyers are better than Coyotes and Blues.

Since the Devils are +, why don't you hedge, put down $16 and change to make sure you don't lose shit, and have a good chance at cashing in +2200?

I see absolutely no reason for NJD to win at all. I wouldn't blame Martin Brodeur but he should get shot on hard and will let up at some point. He should be very proud to have come this far if it's his last season, doesn't mean he has to win and Quick and LAK have proven to be better overall in every aspect. I don't see one aspect that proves to be better siding with NJD, both teams have shown what they can do vs certain match ups and teams like #1 seed NYR were a useless team in playoffs and phoenix needed to get eliminated somewhere it just goes to show

true but the Flyers blew their load against Pitt. bottom line though worse competition or not the Kings still handled their business like they were supposed to and dominated but I can't lay the -170. can't back the Devils either.

btw check your PMs when you get a chance.

I suppose I could protect my $25 but to me it's not worth it unless the Kings win game 1 and the line jumps to +500 or better which is probably won't.

I agree ... Philly was a shell of itself against NY. I still think STL, PHX and VAN were tougher competition than (Florida, NYR and PHI) The West is still the better conference with better defensive hockey and toughness.

Wow how can people talk down Rangers... what a tough team to play. Remember no one was taking Devils to beat them, and now people are saying it was no big deal Devils beat them.

Why not take the Devils for $300 for guaranteed money? You either win $450 off $300 or $250 off $25 (net amount after the $300 bet on NJ if the Kings win). You may not want to hedge quite that way, but I'd make sure I get something out of it in case the Kings don't win.

    You are bang on.
Go with your gut feeling and stay away from the series bet until you have seen 1 or 2 games.

That's why I would wait for the Kings to be up in the series and get a good price. If not, I'm down $25.

I really think the Kings will take it in 6.

The Kings already did the hard part. $25 is $25.
