This team seems to fail to meet its Cup contender expectations every year, so why would this any different.

We all know what Peter Forsberg can be when healthy, and we all know he will not be healthy all season. Even though he appears to be fully recovered, we all know this guy never could stay healthy.

The loss of Kieth Primeau do health reasons is really going to put a strain on this Philly team this year. Believe it or not this retirement was a big blow, because without Primeau this team lacks much needed size and leadership out there on the ice.

Coach Ken Hitchcock must enter the season thinking he's doomed right out the gate this year. Theres just not enough depth on this Flyers team this year to lead them to the division crown, much less a Stanley Cup victory. His only shot is to get everyone on this team to get on the same page early in training camp, if not there going to be pertty much a non-factor this year.
