The 2012 World cup in hockey coming up soon, and Im wondering if any of you guys have a tournament bet on this one, Looking at the rosters, Im thinking Sweden or Finland could win this one but not sure yet.
USA has a very weak roster when comparing Olympic squads between the powerhouse countries.
Canada has one of the weakest bluelines they've iced in the last little while, including an undrafted kid. Also have a below average goaltending tandem.
Latvia and Switzerland are icing near full strength rosters is you want some undervalued second tier teams.
Finland and Sweden are both looking strong and deep in all areas. Russia loaded at forward but weak as ever on defense.
Slovakia and Czech republic look to be two teams to fade
