    Huge game, Buffalo vs Washington, Tuesday

    Sure, I'm a Sabres fan, but I'm not stupid. I don't bet the Sabres every game.

    The line is set for tomorrow's huge playoff type game. -110 in both directions.

    The Sabres have been overwhelmingly impressive lately, and it all starts with Ryan Miller. Named NHL's 2nd star of the week, he is one of the biggest reasons why the Sabres fell so far in the standing, but also why they have recently surged in the standings. He is playing some of his best hockey recently only allowing 31 goals in his last 13-1-3 performances. Sabres are coming off a 4-1 win at NYR and 3-1 win at home vs Minnesota. Buffalo's youngest line of Stafford, Ennis, and Foligno is one of the hottest in the league in the past 6 or 7 games and provides the resiliency and heart that Buffalo will need tomorrow night in Washington.

    I made sure to watch Washington's most recent game at home vs Minnesota. Minny was on a B2B (after playing Buffalo) and the Caps (like most times this year), did not impress me at all. Ovechkin is hot scoring 9 goals in his last 6 games, but most of the players on the roster are just going through the motions. Took them 1.5 periods to score their first goal against a tired Minnesota team but they did take care of business 3-0.

    Buffalo beat Washington 5-1 and 4-2 at home and lost 3-1 on the road.

    Tied in the standings with 6 games left, I'll take the team who is the 2nd hottest in the league only to Pittsburgh since Feb 14 and has the hottest goalie in that time. I don't have to question Buffalo's will power during this game and you can not say the same for Washington.

    Looks like it is definitely Buffalo to me!

    This is analyzing all buffalo and washington games since feb 1.

    sabres fan here too...been winning alot on the sabres recently even paying the juice (just like i did at this time last year)....i like the sabres too but the only thing that worried me is AO....if they can contain him to no more than a goal they should be OK...two or more they could be in trouble...at -110 i think it's a reasonable shot to take.

    the bookies must think this too making that line....I thought they might make buffalo at least a +110 or so dog.....

    Also, Kaleta amd Gerbe are both ready to return....As well as the Sabres have been playing I could see both of them being inserted in the line up to replace McCormick and Boyes...This would actually make the team only stronger IMO.....
