    why did sharks try so hard last night vs. kings, only to face the blues, who own them? i don't get it. seems like they would have tanked it to face the canucks.

    Because regular season series games don't mean anything.

    Who do you think would be a bigger fave, Van vs SJ or Stl vs SJ???????

    matchups mean something. you think pittsburg is thrilled to be playing the flyers? sure they'll be favorites, but it's not a good matchup for them.

    Well obviously Pens would rather play Ottawa or Florida but how is St Louis a tougher match up for them?

    Phx/Stl would probably be my last two teams to pick from the west to make it to the Finals......you disagree?

    so the kings and sharks have a better chance to make it to the finals?? imo the only 2 teams that have the same or possibly better chance to make it is vancouver and detroit.

    and phoenix will beat the hawks in the 1st round

    Chance of Stl winning 1st round > Kings/Sharks
    Chance of Kings/Sharks making the finals > St Louis

    Does that make sense?

    yes disagree.
    blues defense is good. pietrangelo, shattenkirk good defensive numbers. halak and elliot great goals against numbers.
    add sharks goaltender, 0-4 record, and playoff history.
