This is a tough spot for Dallas. They just swept 3 games on their Western Canada swing, so the first game backafter a road trip is always a possible let down game. San Jose has certainly struggled as of late, but they've had the Stars number all year.

Dallas really needs to win this game to put some distance between them and the Sharks In the Pacific division race. Like it or not, Lehtonen has been the best goalie in hockey over the past few weeks, so I expect another strong showing from him.

I can definitely see myself throwing a couple of c-notes down on Dallas tonite.

the main reason for the sharks slide though is that i was wearing a sharks jersey and rubbing it in to the minnesota wild fans when the sharks took a quick 2-0 lead, then blew that game by giving up 2 goals right near the end.

Take Dallas +1.5 goals....Thats what I will be doing. Stars been good at home as of late as well on the road. I see dallas winning the game straight up. I like sharks a lot but not enough to win this game. Either way even if sharks r leading by the 3rd by 2 goals they will still give up a goal if not 2 or 3. Hard to go against the hot team atm. Tips is a good coach. Defensive, but I guess you coach the way you need to coach to win. Kind of boring if you ask me cause I like the run adn gun style of play.

Dallas might be the only team to get the Sharks out of the slump. They are definitely their most hated opponent, likely due to the Ott-factor, with the Ducks a close second. I've watched every Sharks game and the effort seems to be there, but the polish is gone, and nobody knows why. The roster and the lines have been changing so often maybe nobody has a good idea of what their role is anymore, but somehow that explanation gives me no comfort. I expect the Sharks to play hard tonight, but who knows what the result will be. I might go small on the Sharks just for fun but I wouldn't be confident in any side tonight. Leaning under considering this is an important match for both sides, I think they both clamp down.

But, these are very different teams than in those contests. I think the books are as confused as we are about the result.
