Islanders are on a fukcing war path. Panthers have been playing well but they're sick right now. Jagr out with flu. Bjugstad still injured. Barkov and Smith out with same illness as Jagr. Luongo in net, .859% SP last 3 games.

I don't get the line for Minnesota just -140 tonight, but I'll run with it...Vancouver has won last 2 meetings between the teams, which should make the odds even more in favor of Wild tonight.

Yeah I saw you digging that Minny ML in another thread.. It seems a little off to me so I'm staying away. Same thing with NYR. How in the world are they favored more than -200 the way they've been playing?

Same as Nashville - wow have they been overpriced lately at home...and not winning consistently lately either.
Hawks too pricey too vs a decent Avs team who have played well on the road.

Yeah it seems like Chicago is always overpriced but I still play them all the time because I love the matchup problems they pose for most teams.

What are some teams that you chase Terror?
I'm thinking of doing a Washington Caps chase tonight - starting with them at -1. Thoughts?
Their next 2 games are vs. TB and at NYR (Sun.)

I don't have a specific team system that I use right now. I just kinda rotate the same 4-6 teams (Detroit, Chicago, Boston, Washington, Kings, couple others here and there depending on matchups).

I ate shit last night on NYI. Couldn't have gone any worse. I'm kinda leaning the Caps direction tonight. Holtby is a fukcing machine and The Hamburgler is coming back from a concussion.

I'm probably gonna take the regulation bet at -124 though. For some reason covering a goal is a scarier prospect to me.

Good point - and thanks for your input! I agree - winning by 2 or more tonight could happen, but I see the likelihood as being 2-2 or 3-2 near end of game...if it's 2-2 and goes to OT, and then they win in OT, then that would be the only benefit of taking the -1...other than cutting down on juice of ML if they happen to lose.

I absolutely couldn't believe the result in the Isles game last night - maybe the biggest surprise of the season...at least in the past month.

hahaha you're telling me. My girl wanted me to take her to see the dumb county light show thing so I just kept refreshing the score on my phone while we were driving through looking at dumb christmas decorations.. it kept getting worse and worse and worse. By the time we started driving home she probably thought I was going to pull the car over and slice her throat open on the side of the road.

Anyway. Yeah I don't know. You seem to do better with NHL than I do. This is the first year I've really maintained an NHL thread and tried to actually learn something about handicapping the sport. I'm still pretty green.

I thought these were the best plays of the night too as far as sides.
I am taking Kings +1.5 at -330...locked it in early this a.m.
Will be chasing them until the PL hits.

Another chase is BlackHawks opponent TT Under. I have Edmonton TT (U 2.5) tonight...fortunately I didn't play it last game when it lost.

I just have too many bets to put another one on Isles though...the line looks fishy - why aren't they at -125 or -130?

Now that I see the last batch of scores come in - I had 3 leans of which I played none:
Under in Arizona, Isles ML, and Dallas -1.
So I'm feeling better. In fact 3 of last 4 nights I've not played my last lean - and all of those would have lost.

Record this week is 10-5 and down 1 unit...ughh (10-1 in NON-PARLAY bets)

Since I started chasing I've been up units in NCAAB, NBA, NHL and NFL. It does require a lot of self control though. 1-2 bets a day.
