    i'll say it once and i'll say it again, carolina is such a weird team to play on the road. no matter how good the team is i never feel confident picking them to beat carolina in carolina.

    Carolina -.5 +180 really good value IMO. Caps playing 4th in 6 and Carolina will be energized.

    Caps beat Montreal 3-0....big deal.....They barely get 20 shot a game against crappy teams.

    Lost at Wash 1-2 four days ago....Caps were outplayed and outshot 44-24........payback time at home.

    wash always beats carolina, no reason for that to stop tonight, home ice hasn't been a huge influence in the past.
