    Canadiens @ Canucks (02/15/09)

    Canadiens:

    @ Canucks:

    Thoughts?
Looked at some trends, all seem to favor Vancouver by a long shot. Montreal is winless in it's last 10 vs vancouver. I'd take Vancouver but, hockey favorites losing have been destroying my bankroll recently, so I'm gonna have a go with the Habs on this one. They are decent.

    Habs +143.

HAHAHAHA. Where did you find that picture of my dad. Good ol' Johnny Canuck eh?
    Canucks are hot as hell
    Canadians are cold as ice

Anything else I can add would be completely biased.

For one thing, I dont see that line on vancouver being too pricey. And FrenchCoast seems to know what he's talking ABOOT. Guy doesnt seem like a HOSER to me. haha.

    Some stats to chew on:
Vancouver is 9-0-1 SU in its last 10 games when playing Montreal. 9-0 in 9 games. Montreal hasn't beat Vancouver since Nov. of 2000
Vancouver is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games when playing at home against Montreal

Canadiens Road Scoring vs Canucks Home Defense = 2.75
Canucks Home Scoring vs Canadiens Road Defense = 3.2

Once again, Luongo's play will be the determining factor in this game.

Montreal looks good when they actually try so if they BRING IT tonight i think they can win.plus that Mtl goalie played really good against colorado's shoot fest. colorado just beat detroit tonight and mtl beat colorado so I'm on Montreal +150 at vancouver. look for mtl to make it 9-1 in their last 10 matchups.

That about summed up the game..
I don't have any history of being a hockey fan but I have to admit that game was fun to watch. It was cool watching the Canucks pass so effectively. A lot of the time they made the Montreal team look bad.. IE just passed the puck right around em like they were standing still.

Since we don't have a real team in Portland maybe I will adopt the Canucks..
