    I went 9 for 9 last night on O/U NHL! Here's how it works -->

    I didn't want to start doing this till they were about 10 games in on the season. Here is what I do:

    A) I only use GameBookers.com for these bets because they offer O/U between 4.5 and 6.5
    B) Take the total GF and GA average for both teams and add them together. Then divide them by 2. If it equals less than 5.5 go with UNDER 6.5. If it is greater than 5.5 go with the OVER 4.5.
    C) I would advise mainly single bets but I have hit alot of parlays aswell. Last night hit a 9-game parlay with 12-1 odds.

    I started doing this last Sat. and will post my record so far for the year in my next post. Here are tonights plays:

    Phili VS. MTL --- OVER 4.5 -250
    Col VS. CAL --- UNDER 6.5 -227
    StL VS. VAN --- OVER 4.5 -250

    3-game parlay --- +282

    I am 26 - 1 currently on this system using single bets. I am 3 - 1 on parlays which include every game on the night so last night I was 9 for 9 and last Sat. I was 14 for 14!

    Look into maybe home GA/GF and road GA/GF? Might make it a bit more accurate too?

    This early into the season though, wouldnt one 7 goal game or a few shutouts really swing the average a LOT?

    everything else is more or less just throwing darts

    Will be doing this in baseball next spring aswell full-time. I just turned pro in golf and will be using this as a crutch so to speak for extra spending money.

    Sounds like you are off to a good (lucky) start. But I am sure that is a losing proposition over any kind of long term sample size considering how you come up with your numbers and the fact you are using season averages only which will become less and less relevant as the season progresses..

    If you are going to use just that one angle to cap the games and want a tip, this would be a lot more a accurate than just adding up the teams GF/GA and dividing by two...Take the average GF/GA of all the teams which is currently 2.56. Then take the four individual GF/GA averages from the two teams playing and create a +/- off that 2.56 number. If it was Boston/Montreal, it would look like -0.31, -0.18, -0.31, +0.56 which adds up to -0.24, then add that to the 2.56 x 2 which equals 5.09.

    If its working for u, that is awesome. But paying -250 on a 1 goal differential is pretty juiced up.
    Continued success with this though.....cant argue with 9-0 and 14-0 nights.

    I know the juice is a little high but it works. I am placing some bets with only a half point to track. I am risking enough in each game to win $50 so right now as it stands I am 26-1, +23.5 units since Saturday. We will see how it goes. Little risky since it would take approx. 2.5 wins to recoup a loss but right now I have some breathing room so I will go with it. The parlay bets have increased my bankroll aswell. I like Gamebookers because its easy to upload funds and it only takes a few hours to transfer the money to my Moneybookers.

    Pinnacle offers the buying and selling of points too. Half points, as well as whole.

    The STL/VAN game, I would rather play over 5 @ -174, than over 4.5 @ -278

    Would equate to a few pushes, but would greatly lower your losses.

    True enough. I took all the same bets with the extra half point aswell. I got STL/Van @ -250 over 4.5 and over 5 @ -160. I think I will play both to see what happens and minimize any losses.

    Off night but like RED says, if I add a few parlays here and there it offsets my losses. Sure I broke even last night but I was up $450 the night before so I'm not discouraged. Looking forward to a better night tonight.

    Actually he lost money. He says he bets $50 per game. That means he lost $25 (50+50-125). Does anyone really believe he went 9-0 and 14-0? Come on guys!! Especially when the 1st night he posts, he goes 2-1???
