Well a new season is upon us, and I don't know about you, but I'm eager to begin. This will be my 2nd year betting on hockey, and I'm looking forward to seeing how I can perform over a long season.

For opening night, I really like 2 plays (both in the late game).

Vancouver/Pittsburgh U5.5

This is the opening game for both teams, and with Pittsburgh having to travel all the way across border and out west, I can see this becoming a conservative game for the Penguins where they try to stay in the game defensively. The Canucks will probably like to strike fast with this being there home opener, but will be content to pull out a 2 - 1 or 2 - 0 victory.
