Bruins ML +178 = Play of the day!!!!

Im playing this one after watching every single player and coach interview which lead me to believe that the bruins will come out firing in the 1st period.. I think boston wants this cup more honestly.

    +178 Steal of the day.

    They don't?

The Bruins scored 246 goals this season, good for 8th in the NHL

I guess there's that saying 'Defense wins championships' and the Bruins play great defense when they're not taking penalties. These should be close games.

not only did they finish 8th in regular season scoring, they have potted 58 goals so far in these playoffs, and the Canucks have scored 50. I'd say they can score....

Rod- glad to be on the same side again. Lets get em!!!

Glad to see you're on the Bruins too, Rod. I have them as well. Too much hype on Vancouver. We've already beat these guys in their house in the regular season. Number is wayyy too high..

Bruins have played more games than Vancouver I believe which could account for the goal difference, but you're right they can score just fine.

Bruins road record these 2011 playoffs is great. They will have no problem playing in Vancouver even if they give up an early goal.

Wasn't you the same piece of trash that was bad mouthing Boston and now you're betting on Boston??? I'm pretty sure it was you that was trashing the bruins when they were playing Montreal...you're pretty pathetic clown.

Canucks definitely want this one more trust me. The line says it all in this game and series. GL though tonight Rod, you're definitely getting a good price on Boston.

I'm really surprised that these odds are so high on the Bruins. I was expecting something more like +150. I'm staying away but can't blame you for taking Boston tonight. Good luck.

To Vancouver fans...who has been taking the opening faceoffs for the nucks in the playoffs, Kesler or Sedin?

Boston has 58 goals in 18 playoffs game and have given up 43 goals in that time span.
Vancouver has 50 goals through 18 games and have given up 46 goals (5 by Schneider)

Vancouver leading goal scorer (not points) has 8 goals, followed by 2 with 7, and 1 with 5
Boston leading goal scorer (not points) has 10 goals, followed by 1 with 8 and 1 with 6.

Gonna be one heck of a series.

Good luck!!!!!! (a little more to those on the Bruins...)

Agreed Vancouver aren't worth this much vs the Bruins....I guess the Canucks are 'due' for a Game 1 loss. Due Theory and Bruins got Sticks theory in play tonight

    Boston's bottom 6 forwards = 43 playoff points
    Vancouver's bottom 6 forwards = 13 playoff points

I think that secondary scoring will be the key for Boston. I have a feeling it will be guys like Chris Kelly, Rich Peverly, or Michael Ryder doing the scoring for Boston in the series rather than the top line guys. Keslers line and the nucks top D-men should do a good job stifling Boston's top line. Bergeron's line will be more of a defense first type of line to shut down the Sedin's, and then Boston have the superior 3rd and 4th lines which should get some some soft match-ups they can expose.

I thought Vancouver was a lock to win this game and series but I don't know much about the sport...seems like a 50/50 competition to me right?
