    I thought about that to but you couldn't find a man to stand or sit in front of the net and block the entire net from goal entry. Also if they are that big the minor gaps that were would be exposed by a close shot at the goal.

    there wouldn't be a rule change if teams did this. the nhl would laugh at the people wasting money on an immobile goalie who couldn't get off the ice when a penalty is called.
