I used to do well in football but it is so hard to consistently win nowadays.

I do not bet on games nearly as much as i used to. I still enjoy to do so now and again but mainly for entertainment and a bit of a sweat but not trying to be the smartest guy in the room and get rich.

You were right in contention for season high score up until 3 weeks ago. Think you’ll still be 2nd or 3 highest and not make the playoffs. Very frustrating year indeed.

I wish I had been raised-up watching/going to the horse races. Cause I know very little about that sport. About 15 minutes from where I was born and raised (Aiken SC), they train thoroughbreds. (6 Kentucky Derby winners, 3 Preakness Stakes winners, and 9 Belmont Stakes winners). Never got to go, but they have 2 Steeplechase races there yearly, that draw over 30K fans. Not bad for such a small town. Wife & me go to local poker room here in FL and simulcast bet the 3 triple crown races every year. Just for sh*ts and giggles.

Matty, far as your league goes, you could probably pick up a few new-bees from the 2 left-over SBR leagues. Might only need 3-4. You run a good game (Philly 2) but your extra flex position makes it different from other leagues, and the extra scoring adds to the excitement.

As for SBR League #1, just so it doesn't get twisted. I give 0 f*cks, about only 3 waiver moves per week. Long as we all playing by the same rules, I'm good with it. But I'm never gonna apologize for being smart enough to play to win, by the current rules. Improving your team every chance you get against some of the Best FF Players around, is playing Chess, not Checkers. Mic-Drop

I was thinking about dropping my whole roster and picking up every kicker out there. That way if a kicker goes down, then that team would be screwed.
