I cannot believe how anyone can complaining about the format ?, you donks should realize that SBR is really generous to have this contest and not even have a minimum deposit, they do it on their own without sponsors , like the WSOP promotion 10K plus all the points what do you fuukers want more?? its just ridiculous to complain about the BTP contest, all others good luck and have fun

Easy for a non American to say, points can be sold for cash but not for us American players. I had no problem with the past BTP, I make a deposit through an SBR sponsored book and we get weekly $ payouts to that book, everyone is happy on all ends. Now with the way the industry is, we can't even get a book to sponsor this contest... not good, just stating the obvious there Mr. Las Vegas.

    Hi ThaWoj,

    Good question.

SBR Pro users whose membership expires during the course of the contest will be given a five day grace period to renew their Pro status. Prior to the courtesy extension of five days, Pro users whose membership is set to expire are given renewal notices by PM 30, 14, 7 days and 24 hour out.

    Funny, but a legit question.

This contest is still good for Americans, but we just have to work a bit harder to get actual cash from the points.

The strategy is still the same. You use the freeplay winnings and do the three team parlays at the Book to convert them to actual points. Then you use the points to buy gift cards from the store. Then you sell the gift cards on Ebay. Then you use the cash to fund your offshore accounts. Then when you are ready you request a check.

    Easy cheesy!

Yep. I understand the strategy, but others have a problem with it.

You could even get items you know that will sell for full retail. Like the iPad for example.

    It can be done.

The upgraded form is coming really soon, it needs to be uploaded in a posting forum update (no downtime).

I think there are few things i see going on.

    1) people are complaining about the fact the prizes for the free contest are less than they were last year, and they are. Does that disappoint me, sure in someways, just like when something goes off sale, sure Im disappointed but you can't really complain too much.

    2) Based on what you got last vs this year, pros, will wind up with about 10X the points as they would have received SB cash. so if you would have netted $100 last year you get about 1000 points last year, and those points are a FP to boot, so its really maybe only about 750 pts. assuming you consider the gift cards same as cash, that worth about $35.

    3) And, and this is, what I feel is the only important thing. while we will never know what the true reason is for not having a Sportsbook sponsor this year, I have a hard time thinking its not related to actions of the US gov't, which is bad for everyone.

This is not true. Pizzas are USA-only, but other products can be ordered by non-Americans.

Additionally, sportsbook cash provides by far the best value, so many Americans, including myself, would gladly trade the ability to buy other things in exchange for being able to buy sportsbook cash.

The Euro guys are probably limited on what they can buy. They can't get Pizza. They can't get Five Guys, Chick-Fil-A giftcards or Walmart, Best Buy, Target etc. Even the small appliances or other electronic devices are no use to them since they won't work in Europe without a transformer to convert the voltage from 110V to 220V. So basically they can only order clothing or sportsbook cash and Justin's best seller.

I saw one guy from Europe bought an iPad.

Also, not all the gift cards are for USA-only companies. Some of those have international locations, including in Europe.

But again, why would you want a gift card instead of sportsbook cash? Even if you're not good at gambling, sportsbook cash is just worth a lot more. I guess if you don't want to deal with rolling over/withdrawing.

We just have to deal with less value per point is all. But considering points are basically free, it's not all that bad.

The ipad comes with a dual transformer build in into the charge cable just like a laptop or a cell phone. But the appliances like the Coffee Brewer or the TV's won't work without buying a transformer.

    Yes. See this as well.

Also, Walmart has branches open in the UK. I don't know if Walmart gift cards are accepted there, but it's worth finding out.
