Hypothetically, if you knew a starter for a D1 ncaab team next season, how could you maximize that as a betting angle? Not saying its possible or anything but given how much lines are based on stats/odds, does having an inside source have any practical benefit?

#6Similar to morale, I would add distractions. Classwork, girls, drinking, hungover, etc.
If you know him you'll know his comfort area and you'll know when he's off his game for personal reasons. All of which won't be capped. If you know he's depressed, Vegas won't.Comment -

#7I think injuries & distractions are the only ones; knowing if a player will sit due to academic misconduct or something. Also, I'm guessing this only applies to the top players on the team/starters imo.Comment -

#9The coaching staff may have laid out a specific srategy, depending on the opponent. ( ie slowing the game down, barraging them with 3pt attempts, double teaming an opposing player, etc. )
So you may find real value in NCAAB props for that game.
