    advice with money management

    lets say you are following someone.. and you have a bankroll of 1000 ... how would you keep your money using the money management? lets say the guy went on a 20-9 run

    You have to preserve your bankroll during long losing streaks.

    2% = $20 bets
    5% = $50 bets

    Somewhere in there.

    best to stick to a flatbet of 2% to 4% of your bankroll. It really does not matter if he is on a 20-9 run anyone can turn cold and go on a bad streak. if you are bumping your bets up just cause the guy is hot if and when he goes on a bad streak you will be throwing away your winnings.

    The optimal bet size for a -EV bet is 0. He is suggesting that people who ask this type of question tend to make -EV bets.

    That you didn't get this is another sign your optimal bet size is zero.
