    Smoothing for push chart

hi can any1 help me with smoothing methods for push charts. i will use adjacent numbers ie. instead of just -2 i will include -1 and -2 and -3. i was thinking also to include 2 numbers adjacent and take a mean of the 2 answers?

can any1 tell me of a better way or of a combination of ways. is it better to take only 2 adjacent numbers or more?

is there a way of plotting a graph and using this?

    any help is greatly appreciated.

    many thanks.

Couldn't find the push frequency charts that were posted by Ganch before, but his half point calculator may interest you.

Many thanks DH - i am familiar with the HPC and i understand how it was set up. just like wong did.

but i read over and over that it is not accurate for teasers because the further away from the spread you get the less accurate it is. so i am trying to make 1 that i can use for teasers. can you or any1 please suggest ways in which i can make a teaser friendly push chart.

    thanks and BOL

Subs, this will have to be done by trial and error. If anyone tells you they have they have the "correct mathematical answer" they are likely blowing smoke. There are a ton of smoothing techniques, as well as a lot of measures of central tendencies. All are good for something, and all have issues: no one "smoother" is best in all cases nor is any "averaging" method. And at the end of the day, nothing may work well.

If you are interested, PM me and perhaps we can find something. I've worked with just about everything out there.
