Need some stats...
Does anyone know where I could get some stats about the NBA..particularly the records of teams in the playoffs that have won the first game and have gone on to win the series? I would like this info to be broken down by 1st 2nd 3rd rounds of playoffs. Anyone know where I can find this?
Historical line data is available on covers.com. For the NBA, individual teams are linked from the covers.com/pageLoader/pageLoader.aspx?page=/data/nba/teams/teams.html.
Select the team in question and choose the "Past Results" tab.
Your best bet would probably be to program an HTML scraper/parser. You could then format the data any way you required.
