Will the volatility of a shortened/compressed off-season in the NFL present any opportunities in the early part of the season that might create favorable lines and/or should one stay away in the beginning because of any uncertainty.

I assume you are talking about the new rules being implemented this year on kickoffs, moving the kickoff forward?
