How to Query this in Sports Data Base?

Hey guys, I am needing some help just on how to query AFTER or BEFORE a certain date...for instance if I want to see the stats after the 1st month of the season, or after the all-star break, etc...

Anyone out there that could help me with this query? It would be much appreciated!

I think you would have to do each year separately, but this worked:

date>20100701 and date<20100704

This showed games from July 2, 2010 and July 3, 2010
