    At Bats per game

Whats the best way to gauge how many at bats a player will have per game, sorry if this is an obvious question I am new to baseball betting.

I am thinking a higher game total would possibly correlate to more at bats?

I'd also look at position in the lineup. The #1 batter will have about 8/9ths more PAs than the #9.

so then 2nd batter would have 7/9ths more PA then # 9 etc?
but am I right about the total correlating to more at bats, and then specifically after that there lineup position for a more accurate number

    Yes, and yes.

Here's an idea for a regression to run:
Use pythag to determine expected runs for each team, based on total and ML.

Run a regression with expected runs versus team PAs. I think it will work reasonably well.
