    Sharp Action

    Hello,

I develop, maintain and run apps that find discrepancies between books (sharp) and then automatically place bets.

This seemed like a good place to meet like minded people. This is especially effective on smaller (individual run/local) books and even live platforms like EZLive.

Hit me up if you are interested in partnering on this sort of thing.

I've developed a way to calculate the market's sharpest no vig lines at any given time. It's more accurate than the standing no vig line at any particular sharp book.

Seems like that would useful in order to determine which side of the discrepency to bet on, unless you are only seeking to arb or something like that.

I also think a consideration of push rates in the app could be useful, even if it's just he current rates being used by specific books.

Just some thoughts. I've been looking to give back to the community and making use of the book comparisons is one of the things I've been trying to get across.

Maybe your programs can do a little more than just finding discrepencies, like including vig and payout calculators or incorporating the some of the principles in this video...

Also, what sports have you been working with and are you interested in derivatives (like 1st period, 1st quarter, half, etc.). Or perhaps even player props.

Yea they can calculate real implied odds , payout differential, etc; there's a few metrics that can be used other than just the simple odds of course. In addition, the bets are placed automatically so it kind of just becomes a slow and steady money making venture and is not at all akin to "gambling".

I know they work as I've been using them with clients for a long time and refined, iterated etc. I tend to prefer to partner with people who have been in the scene and don't mind handling accounts/partners/collections etc so I'm reaching out a bit to see if anyone would be interested in that sort of thing. If someone already has a lot of accounts with a local / individual run book particularly with EZLive like I mentioned that's a huge bonus. Happy to discuss and, if it seems like a good fit, even demo for anyone interested.

Types of bets - anything can work but some things are better than others; props are great in general as they are less efficient.

Soon as you put something out for the masses it is going to get fixed so no that's not an option. Also this is what I do for a living; that being said I'm looking to partner with someone not bill them.

Just looking for someone who is on the accounts / network side of things since I prefer to stay in my zone as much as possible.

Automatically place bets? Are you talking about a bot placing the wager for you. I believe US books have pretty strict rules and protocols in place to prevent that.

Yes to automatically place bets and there are a lot of ways to get around that if you know what you are doing. In general you make it look as human-esque as possible.

Discussing ways to get around sportsbook rules seems to be frowned upon at SBR.

And truly I would never do that. Good way to get funds confiscated if you are caught. I can make money with my own fingers. Don't need a robot.

It's not dark magic. You are just programming an app to do the same thing you do - just 1000x more efficient at finding edge bets.
