How do online casinos confirm unauthorized use on ones account?

    Hi everyone

Back in December my account was compromised on an A rated book. I submitted my claim and about 3 days later they came back and said there was no malicious activity found and suggested it was one of my family members or friends.

Long story short I came to SBR and the situation was quickly resolved.

-Can they actually see if your account was accessed illegitimately or do they automatically say it wasn't

-What are the steps and processes for completing an investigation

I don't think anybody can answer this question except the book/casino themself. I joined all 8 Pa books and casinos and out of the clear blue sky one shut me down and said we suspect something or another and to show some more ID or something like that. so I did what they wanted which was a pain in the ass and then they wrote ok you are fine. who knows what they thought, probably a mix up on their end and won't admit it.

all 7 other books had no problem, I am assuming if you did nothing wrong and a family member wasn't goofing on you it was their mistake and they will admit that never. it's much like dwightieanne, a stupid mistake but never will admit it. you might not know dwightieanne, it is irrelevant anyway.

Most things that are red flags for any kind of operater(e-shop, websites etc) are timezones, IP addresses, devices, digital fingerprints etc. If they vary a lot from the ones you used in the past, they will notice it.

Dont understand the second question tho. They have systems that monitor account activites, those systems send alerts based on the criterias it has and then a real person looks into it. Once he/she sees that its worth to investigate, it will be sent to the investagion or fraud analysing department who will do in depth analyses and will make a report based on the results. Then it depends on the result. Do they need some proof from the customer side or not.
What systems they use is something no one knows expect the employees who work on that department. In most companies, fraud detection, monitoring those sort of things are confidential. Some outsource the whole service while others buy just a program or build it themselves.
