    it took thousands upon thousands upon thousands of games and signals from profitable bettors (the 1 percenters) for the books to arrive at a point where these numbers will prove out over an infinite number of events to be precise enough to keep the other 99% of bettors broke.

    so take any random closing line you want, calculate the implied probability and extrapolate that ish to see that neither side produces a profit.
