Do you hold on your bet if a key NBA player is a game time decision to play?

    Hey guys,

Sorry if it's been covered before, but if a key NBA Player like Anthony Davis or Embiid is questionable to play and is a game time decision, do you hold off on your bet until it's been confirmed whether he will play or not? Or do you go ahead and make a bet before the player has been confirmed to be playing?

I've been burned at least 3 or 4 games this year making a bet and later the player was ruled out and the team I bet on went on to lose ATS.

I'm curious to see how you guys handle this situation. Thanks!

dont bet it, if the player is a coin flip, there is no way to analyze the game without knowing, players like Lebron and Davis can move the line 4 5 or 6 depending on the team and opponent. if A big name player is a question mark, he really kinda is not a question mark if the big books have a line out.
if I model out Pelicans -4 with Davis and the line is Pelicans +2, that is a pretty good indication he wont go.
I usually ask beaters or at the minimum check here
