    10 units a year

How hard would it be for someone who knows what they are doing to win 10 units a year? Bets can only be made in NFL, NBA, MLB or NHL. Let’s try to keep this positive boys

very easy if you want to do it 1 time at low stakes but if you want to do it consistently as a long term "business" for enough profit to feed you and the cat real fricken hard!

if you have a 1% edge which is brutally hard to get you would need to bet 1000 units to get 10 in profit and this would have to be way more than 1000 units to overcome variance messing with you

    perspective
you need to find say games at -105 -105 margin
you need to bet at an average line of -105 and the avg line must close at -115 dont sound like much but its a ton and if you look at big faves
bet -170 average over 1000 bets and it closes at -190 average on those 1000 bets

rough numbers but the general idea it is very very hard.

its probably easier with lesbian only cricket leagues but who wants to A bet, research or give a crap about them

Depends on the unit size, smaller unit makes it easier.

It should be doable. You have to stay disciplined and put in a little work tho. Nothing is for free.

I'd disagree - a large number of professional bettors are relatively small-scale, making enough to live on and nothing more. Given the amount of time sunk into it, they might be better working minimum wage.

Of course, if you actually enjoy the process, that's another factor.

I think its like panning for gold, most people work for $1 an hour hoping for the jackpot and the ones that hit the jackpot are making a lot more than $1 an hour. I honestly don't know any professional bettors. to me I guess a pro bettor is someone who makes money long term and consistently and I just dont see how that can be done now with margins and all the readily available data that is now available to everyone. I am sure they exist but I have never met one and for me to even think or consider someone a pro, I would need to see some serious data and of course my favorite song CLV

Insanely hard on US sports and big soccer leagues, but i know people who make reasonable amount of money (+60k) on europe basketball, tennis. 1% edge is achievable on markets such as NBA, but only with hard work. Sorry for my poor english

There's a reason for that: no pro publishes their bets anymore, because then it's possible to reverse engineer their method.

Winning 10 units is easy. It's VERY easy.

The problem is KEEPING it and EXPANDING upon it.

Am I making any sense here???

I’m shocked people are saying winning 10 units a year is hard.

GG: I don’t want to expand it but I definitely want to keep it.

obviously smaller markets are easier to beat. but you can make small profit in all leagues.
