    BetLabs Sports Insights?

Has anyone heard or used this software? Just came across it and it looks amazing as you don't have to scrape info from sites...it does a lot

    Any feedback would be appreciated

This exists for free at sportsdatabase.com, just needs some more skills to work with.

We highly recommend checking out the Bet Labs software over at Bet Labs Sports dot com, where you can start creating systems for free. If you have any questions feel free to contact us any time.

Hi, potential customer here. Can I ask you the basic logistics of how you obtained all that data? Ty.

Yes absolutely-- all lines and odds are derived from Pinnacle sportsbook, and go back to 2003 for most sports. We also get betting percentages from 7 offshore books and show the market average. All other filters we use (streaks, stats, home/away, fave/dog, etc) use data from our archives.

I can recommend BetLabs highly for quantitative system builders. The visual interface makes strategy development extremely fast. Downside is that they are quite expensive.

Think the issue here is the word "system" when it seems like most people confuse it with "trends"

simpky looking at at a few games and thinking you've got something is plain stupid.

if you are smart enough to look at trends and use them effectively, then you're on to something. i.e. Do divisional games have a smaller stdev in the game result than non division games? What's the difference between the two?, you then use that multiplier to adjust your computed/estimated spread for games like that
