    making profit from +EV futures?

I currently have three NFL futures with good numbers compared to the market right now.

    Minnesota for NFC conference +800
    Colts AFC conference +600
    Minnesota SuperBowl +2000

    In MB the numbers are

Minnesota To win +284 and to lose -315 for NFC conference
Colts to win AFC +115 to lose -116
Minnesota for SB to win +780 to lose -820

My question is how can i hedge my future bets as of right now?
can i bet on the " to lose " side and make a profit right now?
i dont understand how the MB future bets work if you can explain it to me how are both sides settled, pls?
What Options do i have ?, which one has more Ev+?

    Thanks for the insight.

Because Matchbook is an exchange if someone wants to bet Minnesota to win NFC conference there has to be a person willing to hold the Minnesota loses the conference. so if you have Minnesota +800 to win the NFC you can hedge your bet by taking the to lose side. Now if you still feel minnesota has value then how much you hedge will depend.

If you had bet 100 on Minnesota +800 then a pure arb would have you bet 683 to lose, betting a total of 783 and locking in a profit of almost $117 no matter which side wins. Of course you could bet less on the lose side and if Minnesota wins your in better shape and if they lose your in worse shape.

Play with the arb calculator http://www.sportsbookreview.com//Betting+Too...alculator.aspx to see the possibilities.
