Who is the sharpest of the sharps?
I have been wondering: Who is the sharpest bookmaker?
I bet mostly on soccer (moneyline) and I personally consider Pinnacle the sharpest, but have no data to back it up.
I have heard about SBOBet or maybe even Betfair to be sharper than Pinnacle on soccer - i'm not sure that is correct though.
Who do you consider the sharpest in relation to soccer?
And what about tennis?
My opinion:
Soccer - Betfair
North American markets - 5Dimes, Pinny
Pinnacle itself is not any sharp. Their early lines are all wrong, released when drunk. Maybe best change to define correct odds using Pinnacle is the moment when earlyodds are eaten and movement of odds settles down. It is the moment when sharp money doesnt want to buy anything and the moment you see what you dont want to buy neither. On the other hand, even if its possible to get a good hunch of correct probabilities observing sharp actions, once you have become that wiser, you dont have anything left to bet for yourself
1- sbobet
2- ibcbet
3- bet365
4- 188bet
American Sports > Pinnacle
Soccer > Sbo/Ibc
Tennis > Nobody.
You would think 5dimes is very sharp for north american markets due to the fact that americans have very little options when it comes to legit A+ books with reduced juice. They take the majority of action.
SBR Sportsbook is sharpCant find anything to bet there.
Soccer a peculiar sport to bet, with little scoring.
I think pinnacle is generally accurate.

Tennis is the clear no.2 sport on Betfair in terms of volume (without taking racing into account). The average tennis match gets bigger volume than a NBA game and there are so many more tennis matches. Don't be fooled by the lower limits of Pinny and others. Tennis gets lots of action. Many bettors in Europe achieve high monthly turnovers due a multitude of options, especially in-play even without placing very big bets.
I going to observe Vernons in the future. (And what else can I even do because they have limited me, bustards. I cant bet absolutely nothing and I have a brand new account.) However, I have now seen for sure that one of the market top prices they offered was a trap, very sharp one. So they are not just copiers.
You dont realy need to wonder about this.Sharpest bookie is who
1)dont limit or banned players
2) have the lowest margin in the market
3)have high staking limits
and
4) of course always pays back the winnings
Those conditions means that they have strong believe at their lines and they are sure that they can get long term profit
so you can realise that the sharpest is pinnacle .
Is so sharp those guys that they write articles about how you will become a successfull bettor !!!
according to that logic bf also sharp as pinny .
Sbo also sharp but not as those 2 cause they can cover their mistakes cause of their higher juice.
most of early lines at all bookies are wrong.you can not predict correct odds for a next 2-3 or more days game.a lot of things can change even in one hour.So LFvalue i think he s talking about closing lines

There is not also a bookie that is sharp without having sharp bettors.But most soft bookies banned them.

You're joking right? If 5Dimes was sharp they wouldn't have to heavily limit all the sharp bettors and also put them on wager delay.
It's more than comical to include bet365 and 5 dimes in a list of sharp books. Bet365 kicks you out if your IQ is above 63 and 5 dimes copies Pinny and Bookmaker on everything they offer for more than 500 a pop.
